Our Work

Doing More Together

Townshippers Foundation is a community-based charitable organization that invests in and engages with ideas, people, and organizations that improve the quality of life in the Eastern Townships.

We provide grants, allocated from donations from the community to a variety of projects at the grassroots level. For some of these projects, a Foundation grant is the seed fund that helps their idea to come to life.

The projects we support fit into three areas of impact.

Partners

We specialize in raising funds and disbursing grants, but we also help local groups and organizations in other ways, such as providing charitable tax receipts. Most small groups that raise funds on their own don't have charitable status. We partner with groups that fall into similar grant criteria, accepting donations on their behalf and issuing receipts. This way, these groups can give donors another reason to contribute.
