Deadline Looming for Community Project Funding!

By |

Are you in need of funds to launch a project that will enhance the quality of life for people and communities within the historical Eastern Townships? Towshippers Research & Cultural Foundation may be able to help. But don’t wait to apply, the January 31 deadline is quickly approaching!

Each year, the Foundation allocates funds to worthy local, grassroots organizations and projects in the fields of arts, education, health, heritage, research, social services, or youth. It considers project proposals with budgets both small and large, in locations across the Townships, which have a wide impact on the community.

Examples of projects funded include those that: encourage young people to engage in their communities; promote literacy; promote creativity through the arts; provide education and assistance in mental and physical health; expand the resources of community organizations such as libraries, historical societies and museums; promote the cultural exchanges between English-speaking and French-speaking people.

For further funding criteria or to download a project application, visit the Foundation’s newly redesigned website at TownshippersFoundation.ca. Questions? Call Mary at 819-822-3314 or email trcf@townshippers.org.
